Great Days Out: May Half Term

Great Days Out: May Half Term

We've got a lot happening on the Severn Valley Railway over the May half-term period (27th May - 4th June). There are a whole host of additional activities happening at the Engine House, as well as some great offers to make your day out even better!

  • Cinema Movie Week:
    (Monday-Friday)
Following the success of our screening of Disney's Moana last month, we are showing more fantastic films at our cinema with daily showings, complete with popcorn and other cinema goodies to make for the full theatre experience.

Check back here for more information regarding movies soon!
  • Kids Eat Free:
    (Friday only)
Did you know that we have a fully air-conditioned restaurant at the Engine House? We have a large kitchen serving up hot and cold food, and kids eat for free with every adult purchasing a main meal.
  • Movie-Themed Quiz & Treasure Hunt:
To go along with our daily movie showings, we also have a FREE movie-themed quiz and treasure hunt which will see coffers of booty hidden around the Engine House. There will be prizes up for grabs for all of our young explorers...
  • Colouring and activity tables:
We have activity and colouring sheets with plenty of crayons to keep those little hands busy, where else can you colour in the Lady Armaghdale while being sat in front of the Lady Armaghdale?
Finally, we have FREE local admission to the Engine House at Highley if you live in the Highley area, ie with the "WV16 6XX" postcode, simply bring along with you proof of residence* in the catchment area and you'll be able to enjoy all of the above free of charge - normal entry fees apply without.
