Diesel replaces steam . . . Steam Footplate rides at Bewdley & Bridgnorth Sat & Sun.
***FULL HERITAGE DIESEL SERVICE IN OPERATION***
has certainly warmed up over the last few weeks, and in light of this, we will
need to operate a full diesel service to ensure that we have no fire risk,
reducing the pressure on our already stretched local fire brigade.
hauled services will continue to take passengers in our comfortable historic
carriages, stopping at our quintessentially English Stations, Halts and The Engine
House Visitor Centre, until at least Wednesday 18th July.
Although the passenger trains will be Diesel-hauled, it is planned that steam locomotive no 2857 will be giving footplate rides at Bewdley Station on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th, with no. 43106 doing the same at Bridgnorth Station on the same days!
continue to check for updates and additional information.
