September 5, 6, 2009: Seaside Special Weekend !

The seaside comes to the Severn Valley with loads of fun for all the family!
Attractions include:

A beach, Donkey rides, Open-top bus, Punch & Judy Shows, Magic Shows, Bouncy Castle and Playpit, Fortune Teller, Sticks of Rock, Vintage Slot Machines, Ice Cream, Model Railway, Carousel, Candy Floss and named holiday trains such as 'The Cambrian Coast Express'.

In addition to the extra attractions listed above, all our usual facilities will be available, including The Engine House, our Visitor and Education Centre at Highley.Additional admission charge applies.

(Special Timetable)
The UK's premier steam railway event, with continuous running for three full days. Experience an extensive train service between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth throughout the weekend.

Visiting locomotives to be announced.

The Engine House, our Visitor & Education Centre at Highley will be open for extended hours throughout this event as follows:

Friday 10-00 am to 8-00 pm
Saturday 9-00 am to 8-00 pm
Sunday 9-00 am to 5-00 pm

Our ever popular Diesel Enthusiasts Gala returns to its October spot in 2009.

Full diesel timetable operates on Thursday and Friday, with a mix of diesel and steam traction on Saturday.

When the Festive Season seems to have lost its fizz and the children (and the grown ups) can't wait for schools to reopen, trust the Severn Valley Railway to have the answer!!!!!!!

Why not bring all the family, the relatives included, for a super winter train journey along 'the line for all seasons'.
