Planning Your Day

For group leaders aiming to get the most out of the day there really is so much to see and do. If you would like to discuss your own ideas for your visit or you would like to find out more about one of the options below, we will be happy to help. Please call 01562 757 900 to speak to our group travel team.

Itinerary 1

Take a single train journey from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. After relocating your coach to Bridgnorth, your group can then go further afield with a visit to Shrewsbury or Ludlow.

Itinerary 2

Take a single or return journey to Bridgnorth. Your group can then break your journey on the outward or return leg at Highley station for a tour of The Engine House, our Visitor Centre.

Itinerary 3

Take a return train journey from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth on an early departure. After a leisurely day in Bridgnorth, Saturday is market day, your group can return to Kidderminster on a mid to late afternoon train.

Itinerary 4 (for the less mobile)

Arrive at Kidderminster for a pre-booked lunch in the Refreshment Room, our comfortable restaurant right on the station platform.

Then take an early afternoon departure to Bridgnorth where your coach will have relocated to collect you at the end of your journey. As an alternative you could make the return to Kidderminster.

Itinerary 5

Start your day at Bridgnorth and journey to Kidderminster for lunch in the Refreshment Room. After lunch your coach could then take you to Kidderminster Carpet Museum for an afternoon visit (transfer time 5 minutes).

Itinerary 6

Take a leisurely ride along the Severn Valley from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster. At the end of your journey, take a tea or coffee break in the Refreshment Room, our restaurant at Kidderminster (advance booking essential), before you rejoin the train for your return to Bridgnorth.
