Ticketing

Can I purchase a ticket on the day?

What safety measures are in place?
We've worked hard to cover every aspect of your safety by limiting numbers on the Railway, clearly marked routes around stations, additional hand sanitiser on site, staff training and much more. Ensuring your experience is both safe and fun is our number one priority.

Is a face mask mandatory?
Please bring your own face mask and face covering to be worn at all times. You may remove your face mask or face covering in your private compartment or when consuming food and drink. Face masks must be worn when sat around tables in open carriages. If you are exempt from wearing a face mask, please ensure you wear the 'I am exempt from wearing a face covering' badge so we understand your situation - you can download it here.

How are you adhering to social distancing measures?
We've worked with our design team to create a variety of heritage-themed signs to encourage our customers to socially distance and respect each other’s personal space. We've also limited numbers on each journey to ensure that we don't overcrowd.

Do I have to bring hand sanitiser?
If bringing hand sanitiser makes you feel more comfortable, you are welcome to bring your own! However, there will be additional hand sanitiser on stations, in shops, dining areas and we will provide a small bottle of sanitiser per compartment to take away.

Will toilets be open on trains?
Toilets will only be available on trains in case of emergency. We encourage you to use toilets on the station where possible. Toilets will be regularly cleaned to ensure your safety.

Itinerary

What will my day look like?
We've built each day to suit every taste. Your full itinerary is revealed when you book!

How long do I have to arrive prior to booking?
Due to safety measures in place, we recommend that you arrive up to 45 minutes before your departure time!

What happens if I miss my train?
To ensure you are comfortable and ready to depart, please arrive at your departure station 45 minutes prior. If you do miss your departure, we will look to accommodate you on another service where capacity allows. However, this cannot be guaranteed and monies will not be refunded.

Do I have to stick to my itinerary?
To ensure social distancing measures are met, we've had to limit travellers on the Railway for the month of Septembert. As a result, we've built a variety of set journeys that help you take in all of the Severn Valley. We'll be asking you to stick to your itinerary. These do allow you plenty of time in a variety of locations to ensure that you're not rushed!
