Members & Shareholders - Important Information

Members & Shareholders, we’d like to thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times and thank you for travelling with us in 2020.

As we prepare to reopen for 2021, we wanted to give you a full update, so you have all the information on enjoying your visit.

Advance Bookings

The health and safety of our guests and our staff is our number one priority. In order to comply with government guidelines, we need to manage our capacity to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable visit. Because of this, all passengers will be required to pre-book a ticket online.

Members

To pre-book tickets, you’ll need to visit our Ticket Office and enter your Unique Identification Number (UIN) at the checkout to receive a third off the ticket price. The UIN will be detailed at the bottom of your membership card in the format U123456 or M123456 - you need to enter the NUMBERS only.

Shareholders

To pre-book tickets, you’ll need to visit our Ticket Office and enter your Unique Identification Number (UIN), preceded by SH, at the checkout to receive the appropriate discount. For example; Shareholder 1234, would need to enter SH1234 at the checkout. On normal days, Shareholders will receive a 100% discount, for the Spring Steam Up and Spring Diesel Bash, a 65% discount is available.

The Spring Steam Up and Spring Diesel Bash are one-off events for our enthusiasts to enjoy. It must be noted that these events are not Galas and are therefore not eligible for free travel for shareholders. As a gesture of good will, we are offering shareholders a 65% discount, however should shareholders wish to pay the full amount this will assist us greatly in our recovery. As ususal, shareholders with free-travel vouchers or shareholder travel passes continue to get free travel on all our excursion services. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

And finally

We look forward to welcoming you back to the Severn Valley Railway.
