Notice for shareholder regarding 2021 benefits

Dear shareholder,

Thank you for your continued support for the Severn Valley Railway during the pandemic.

To thank you for your support throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2020 and during the first two quarters of 2021, all shareholders (with over 100 shares) received unlimited uses of the Railway in our compartment stock. However, new benefits are now in place that relate to your level of shareholding.

The process to book will remain the same (enter SH and your shareholder number in the discount code box), and you will now receive an entitlement related to your individual shareholding. This is similar to the arrangements before 2020.

The following arrangements will apply to standard excursion services:
Previous entitlement in 2019 Online Booking System in 2021
100-224 1 FotL ticket Table of two, one use
225-399 2 FotL tickets  Table of two, two uses
400-799  4 FotL tickets Table of two or compartment of four, four uses
800-1199 4 FotL tickets, 1st Class  Table of two or compartment of four, eight uses
1200+ Unlimited  Table of two or compartment of four, unlimited uses
*Freedom of the Line tickets. These must be handed in at the booking office on the day of travel.

Any benefits related to special events denoted as eligible remain unchanged as per the most recent Share Offer.

Any additional passengers not covered by your shareholding, will be able to purchase a reduced-priced ticket for £15 on arrival at the Booking Office to travel. Current bookings made by shareholders are being reviewed. If you are aware of any bookings you have made that are more than your entitlement, please contact us to arrange payment.

If you have any questions, please email or call 01562 757 900. Our team will be happy to assist.

Kind regards

Team SVR.
