We’re back for 2021 and new adventures await! Spend a whole day out on the Railway on one of our specially tailored return trips.

Following careful consideration of the government’s guidelines, the Severn Valley Railway will recommence services on Monday 12th April. If you are a passenger who has booked to travel up to and including Sunday 11th April, you will be contacted to transfer your date or receive a full refund.

Step back in time to a world of discovery from April 12th 2021 as the Severn Valley Railway reopens. Choose your journey and travel in a private compartment or reserved table seats as you steam through the Severn Valley with family and friends.

Please pre-book your tickets online to guarantee travel; tickets are on sale online until 8.30pm the day before travel. [later than previously!]

Our steam-powered adventures

Each day, our popular itinerary services give you the opportunity to explore the full length of the line without the worry of having to plan your day.

New adventures await as The Adventurer, Explorer and Flyer return for 2021 with changes to each service giving you new experiences and new locations to explore. To keep you safe, you must only travel in your reserved seats on the train you book onto - you cannot travel on any other train.

Bridgnorth at 11am
Your day out: departing from Bridgnorth at 11am, you'll steam all the way to Kidderminster. During your day, you have the chance to visit The Engine House at Highley*, spend some time in Bewdley, a Georgian riverside town, or explore the picturesque countryside at Arley, before returning to Bridgnorth later in the day. The Adventurer runs every day the Railway is open (excluding special events and Enthusiast Fridays).

4.45pm The Rambler replaces The Flyer until The Engine House reopens. 

Your day out: departing from Kidderminster at 9.45am, The Rambler steams to Bridgnorth and back twice during the day, stopping at every Station.

Passengers may also start and finish their day at Bewdley. Simply select this option at the point of booking.
The Rambler operates on April 12th, 13th, 14th and 24th, and May 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Under 4s travel free, but must not take up a seat.
Dogs travel free of charge.
Wheelchair users must reserve their space on the train.

Members, Shareholders and Loyalty Pass holders must pre-book their table or compartment in advance. You will need to enter your unique number to receive a discount at the check-out.
Any additional travellers not covered by your pass or ticket will be charged on arrival at the Booking Office.
Tickets may also be purchased at the same price by calling 01562 757900 (option 1). 
These tickets are not available for purchase from booking offices in advance.
