The Lost Jewel Escape Game, Onboard Experience
Can you crack the code and save the day? Our new
Escape Game will challenge you on board the train - combining the best
of steam-powered travel and laterally thinking for an immersive
experience to accomplish tasks, think laterally, solve clues, crack
codes and complete puzzles within a full line trip.
The premise of the game is simple, and transports up to six players back to 1861 to save the day for Queen Victoria...
been invited onto a special train to enjoy the first trip across the
newly constructed Victoria Bridge. Amongst the guests you see Queen
Victoria herself. Although this is a heavily-guarded secret, someone has
found out and they're lurking in the corridors, heading towards the
royal carriage. Are they planning to steal the Queen’s jewels? You have
one trip along the line to crack the code and stop the thief.
Combine a trip on the Severn Valley Railway with a visit to the
stunning Arley Arboretum, just a short walk from Arley Station. Visits
to the Arboretum are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays for £5 per person. Your admission includes a trail
sheet for any children in your group. And the Garden Tearoom sells a
variety of hot and cold drinks, wonderful homemade cakes and light

beautiful Laburnum arch, measuring 65 metres. Popular with nature
lovers, families and walkers, Arley Arboretum is a magical place to
visit throughout the year, with every season bringing a different

Train Ride & Brewery Tour
Combine a trip on the Severn Valley Railway with a tour of Bewdley
Brewery! Tours are available on October 16th.
During your 30 minute guided tour, see the fermentation room and the
fermenting vessels where the beer ferments once brewed. During your
visit, you'll also see the collection of pub, brewery & railway
memorabilia, before taking a seat in The Brewery Tap to enjoy a pint.
The experience lasts approximately one hour.
Bewdley Brewery (DY12 2DZ) is located half a mile from our Station. Follow the signposts to the town, cross the River Severn, and turn left down Severn Side South, following the signs for Bewdley Brewery.

Combine a trip on the Severn
Valley Railway with a visit to the stunning the Museum of Carpet, just a
short walk from Kidderminster Station.
The Museum of Carpet opened on 12th October 2012 and is the only
Museum in the UK dedicated to celebrating the heritage, art and industry
of carpet making.
The museum invites visitor to discover the unique story of
Kidderminster, once known as the ‘Carpet Capital of the World’, through
visuals, photos, films and interactives. The story is brought to life by
our team of volunteers, most of whom lived and worked in Kidderminster
during its carpet industry heyday.
Available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The Museum of Carpet is a 15 minute walk from Kidderminster Station; walk down Comberton Hill and use the subway under the roundabout to reach Green Street. Walk 100m along Green Street and the Museum of Carpet is on your left.
