
Soap Making Workshop
ONLY TAKING PLACE ON JULY 6th – DON’T MISS OUT
Learn the traditional art of soap making in at The Engine House. If you have ever wondered how natural soap was made, then our introductory workshop is the one for you! We have put together this short course to give you an introduction to soap making; both the ingredients and the process involved.
What’s included:
- Steam train travel to Highley through the beautiful Severn Valley
- Soap making workshop with 7Soaps
Board the steam train at Kidderminster or Bridgnorth and travel to The Engine House at Highley where the workshop will take place from 11.15am until 3.00pm.
You will be taken through the soap making process step by step by experienced soap makers, Karen and Xime from Stourport on Severn’s 7soaps.co.uk. At the end of the workshop, you will takeaway your fabulous homemade soap creations (approximately 10 x 80g bars), including the recipe. Your soaps will take a few days to set in their moulds, in one week they are packed by 7soaps and ready for you to collect.
Choose from a selection of decorative soap moulds, dried flowers, herbs, spices and essential oils. The soap making course is a cold process soap making experience where you will learn how to make soaps from natural ingredients found in your home kitchen and gardens.
Vintage Afternoon Tea may also be purchased to accompany your workshop at The Engine House.
